We live in a culture that photographs its milestones, so it's easy to assume a season is wasted if it isn't visibly producing something. But a seed does its most important work underground, in the dark, long before anything breaks the surface.
Scripture says your real life is hidden with Christ, tucked away, not on display. The quiet, unseen season you're walking through right now might not be a delay before your real life starts. It might be the exact place your real life is being formed.
“For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.”
Colossians 3:3
“For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.”

The Greek kekryptai in Colossians 3:3 is a perfect-tense verb, meaning the hiding already happened and its effects remain ongoing. Your life isn't hidden because God forgot about it. It's hidden the way something valuable gets kept safe.
“Father, help me trust what You're doing in the dark, even when I can't see fruit yet. Grow me in the hidden season. Amen.”
