Needing the right people around you isn't a moral failure. It's just how influence works. Who you let close is rarely a small detail in your spiritual life. Often it's the whole difference between drifting and growing.
The Greek word for "corrupts" in 1 Corinthians 15:33, phtheirei, is the same word used for physical decay or ruin. Paul isn't describing a mild inconvenience, but an actual erosion that bad company produces over time.
“Lord, give me discernment about who I let shape me. Surround me with people who sharpen my faith instead of dulling it. Amen.”
